Abkhazia — the ancient country. Still in I—II centuries of our era in the Greek-Roman written sources it is mentioned ancestors of the Abkhazian people — апсилах and абазгах. Ruins of ancient temples and kre-with постей, testifying to the rich past of this country B.C. have remained.
The nature of edge and it щедроты fascinate everyone who can visit this corner of the earth. But the same natural resources did Abkhazia by a tidbit for many unbidden newcomers. The country history stores many pages narrating about foreign invasions and intrusions.
